Guided Visualization for Classroom Management and Positive Affirmations for Teacher Personal Power

“If you don’t feel powerful in your own classroom, this is what you need to be listening to every day.” —Nissa Quill

This 7:30 minute guided visualization, written by Tina Hargaden and read by Jason Bond, will walk you through a series of steps that will help you to retrain your brain from the inside out to respond with a calm feeling of power to minor disruptions in your classroom, so that you can cultivate a feeling of calm, centered, powerful leadership that is the basis of strong classroom management. Use this visualization frequently, and say the positive affirmations daily, to help develop your self-confidence and strength as an instructional leader. Your internal dialogue and energy is transmitted to your students in deep, unconscious ways. Change your classroom practice from the inside out by changing your inner thinking and cultivating more positive feelings and patience.
